Cuban Hibarito
Interview with Marlyse, co-owner Empanada Sonata

Grand Bazaar NYC hosted the event

Interview with Raphael, Manager of the Mac Truck NYC

The look on my face says it all!

Mac Truck NYC
I visited the NYC Food Truck Festival 12 March 2017, for Blunt Squad TV Show Food Truck Segment.
The event, hosted by Grand Bazaar NYC, featured 12 gourmet food trucks.Thousands braved the freezing NYC weather to stand for hours to sample the food.
We got to interview representatives from 2 of the food trucks, the manager of the Mac Truck, NYC(Raphael) as well as the co-owner of The Empanada Sonata(Marlyse).
Raphael( Mac Truck NYC) showed us great hospitality, even though he was extremely busy serving the customers. They have delicious signature variations of mac & cheese, like buffalo chicken, BBQ pulled pork and bacon/cheeseburger, besides the classic version.YUMMY!!!They get my vote for the best food truck service at the festival!
Marlyse, who is also the lead singer of the band, Betty Rocker, spoke to us about how she and Keith Moran, a firefighter, started the Empanada Sonata which celebrates their mutual passion for food and music They offer a variety of empanadas, you can listen to music while waiting for the tasty treat.I sampled a Cuban Hibarito which is made with ham, Swiss cheese, mustard, pickles,  topped with mojo sauce and instead of using bread they use tostones(fried plantains) which give it an interesting twist. The combination will give you a wonderfully exciting taste experience

Chinatown

Marina Bay Sands

River cruise from Clarke Quay to the Harbour

Stinky Durian !

I visited Singapore on a layover to Australia.2-3 days is enough to see most of the city, however, I made the mistake of visiting on their national days,8-9 August, so make sure you plan your visit another time as you will wait hours to see the main attractions.Aside from this Singapore is a cosmopolitan city with many interesting attractions.Highlights of my visit were going on the Singapore Flyer, eating seafood at Long Beach, the Night Safari, Chinatown, Little India and Clarke Quay. There are many fantastic malls and architecturally magnificent buildings to see which will blow your mind like the Marina Bay Sands

Nicole Stepping Out visit to Victoria Falls (Zambia and Zimbabwe)

A visit to the Victoria Falls is a must.I got to see the Falls from both Zambia and Zimbabwe back in 2012.I stayed in Zambia and took a day trip to Zimbabwe.I also took a cruise along the beautiful Zambezi river.Seeing the phenomenal Victoria Falls was always a dream of mine and experiencing the sheer power of one of the 7 Wonders of the World was truly inspiring.I recommend that everyone do this at least once in their lifetime!
