Today is Africa Day!
The day commemorates the founding of the #africanunion
It is intended to celebrate & acknowledge African #solidarity , #unityindiversity ,creativity,challenges and successes!
A continent rich in raw materials, natural wonders, dramatic coastline, wildlife, which makes it attractive to people from other continents.
Africa is the world’s second-largest and second most-populous continent. It covers 6% of the Earth’s total surface area ( if you include the adjacent islands)

So many people don't know there is a little piece of Italy in the Bronx , New York City!
If you go to Arthur Avenue in the Belmont Section of The Bronx , you will find the charming Arthur Avenue Retail Market.
You can find delicatessen's with delicious cured meats, cheeses and you can also pick up a delicious sandwich. There is a hand-rolled cigar shop and you can watch cigars being rolled while you are there
If you love Italian gelato but can't make it to Italy, be sure to grab some here.
The bread is fresh and delicious and it will be almost impossible not to buy some Italian bread as the wonderful smell is so inviting
I always pass by this market when in New York City as it really does remind me of an authentic Italian market.
